These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Addison Jones Studios (“Addison Jones Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) about your use of https://www.addisonjonesstudios.com and related online properties that link to these Terms (together, the “Site”), and about inquiries and purchases made through the Site.
Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy before using the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. ACCEPTANCE
Using the Site means you accept these Terms. Where the Site asks you to confirm agreement (for example before submitting a form or completing checkout), that confirmation is additional evidence of your acceptance. These Terms apply to the Site as a whole even if a particular page does not repeat this notice. If you are dissatisfied with these Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.
2. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Site and its content — including text, photographs, paintings imagery, design, logos, and other materials — are owned by Addison Jones Studios or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Images of artworks and studio materials on the Site are not in the public domain. You may not copy, download, modify, redistribute, or redisplay Site content without our prior written consent, except for limited personal, non-commercial viewing on your device. You may not reverse engineer, scrape in bulk, or remove proprietary notices from the Site or its content.
3. PRIVACY
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information and is part of how we operate the Site. Please review it.
4. UPDATES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Changes take effect on that date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
5. SITE DISCLAIMERS
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content will always be complete or current. Product descriptions, availability, and pricing on the Site may change and are not a binding offer until we confirm an order or send a Shopify invoice or checkout for you to complete.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Addison Jones Studios and our officers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us through the Site for the transaction giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. LINKS
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for those sites, their content, or their policies. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk. You may link to our Site’s homepage with a plain text link that does not imply endorsement, does not use our logos without permission, and does not frame or mirror our pages. We may revoke linking permission at any time.
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse the Site — including by attempting unauthorized access, interfering with security or performance, submitting malware, harvesting data in bulk without permission, impersonating Addison Jones Studios or others, or using the Site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.
9. USER CONTENT AND FEEDBACK
If you submit messages, comments, images, or other content to us through the Site (“User Content”), you grant Addison Jones Studios a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that User Content as needed to operate the Site and respond to you. You are responsible for User Content you submit and represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate law or others’ rights. Feedback you send about the Site or our work may be used by us without obligation to you.
10. PRODUCTS, ORDERS, PAYMENT, AND RETURNS
Artworks, editions, and related offerings shown on the Site may be limited, unique, or subject to prior sale. Descriptions and images are for information; colors and scale can vary by display. We do not accept payment through Zelle, Venmo, or similar payment apps. Please contact the studio directly to confirm payment arrangements.
Shipping, lead times, and related details are described on our Shipping Information page and in order communications. Return and exchange terms, when available for a particular offering, will be stated at purchase or in writing from the studio. Inquire about a work via our Inquire page or studio@addisongjones.com.
11. TERMINATION
We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Addison Jones Studios and our officers, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
The Site is operated from Colorado, United States. These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that state and federal courts located in Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
14. GENERAL
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order-specific terms we provide at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. Headings are for convenience only.
